On Thursday the weather was a little bit on the cold side so i decided to tag along with the Willeitners and see the Residenz Palace/Museum. It was AMAZING! There were 120 rooms to visit and I loved them all. It would be so great if we could just go back in time and see everything how it once was. Especially since the war destroyed almost everything in Germany. The Residenz was pretty incredible and they did a great job restoring and recreating the palace. It was also great they had some of the original items that were used.
They actually had a church built in the palace...
Look at all that GOLD!
This room had a bunch of neat little trinkets...
This is in the Green Room. It was definitely my favorite!
Loved the red...
Some VERY old harps...
The walls... I tried to find a statue that looked like Tommy so we could pretend he was there. But no such luck I couldn't find one.
Inside the main hall... It was HUGE!
I know you can't tell i tried to get a close up but this is made entirely out of seashells!
This picture is in front of the courtyard fountains. It is made out of seashells!
